CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

VINYASA An open-level class using breath as a guide to movement. This class seamlessly blends asana, pranayama, and mindfulness practices and is designed to energize you physically and restore you mentally. Classes marked Live Music Vinyasa will have rotating guest musicians creating a soundscape to accompany the class.

YOGA FOR STRENGTH This 75 min class will include 60 min of yoga that seamlessly incorporates strength building exercises like glute bridges, push ups, and core work. The last 15 min will be a luxurious cool down incorporating stretching and mobility exercises. Expect a challenging yet balanced class that will leave you feeling both stronger and more mobile. All levels of experience are welcome and difficulty options will be provided.
CANDLELIT KATONAH RESTORATIVE Soothe your aches and pains and clear out joint space in this open level candlelit class. The goal of a Katonah restorative class is to reform the body through archetypal poses such as supported backbends, hip openers, twists, and long forward folds. If you are brand new to yoga, this is a great class to start with!

KATONAH VINYASA A playful class that’s subtly challenging with a focus on form and function. Each class will include asana and either pranayama, meditation, or restorative postures with lots of props.

KATONAH YOGA We all move through life in habitual, personal, and largely unconscious ways. Over time this can lead to imbalances in the body, and potentially to chronic pain or even injury. In a Katonah Yoga class you will learn yoga postures that are archetypal, measured, and conscious so that you can begin to reform your physiology in a way that leads to better function, ease, and joy.
